New store in Brookings, OR !!

Hello friends, I have some exciting news!   I am opening a new shop in my hometown of Brookings, on the beautiful Southern Oregon Coast. When, you ask?   Wednesday, July 27th !!!! I realize I am a little late to announcing - I have been busy putting the most beautiful shop together! It has been a lovely experience with a great support team  in Brookings.  Mostly my family - from my partner doing a ton of the on site construction work, my dad and brother offering redwood boards and alder poles from their wood shop, my sis and her kids helping with a deep clean, as well as my mom supplying the plants you see! Hi there! We are starting a seris of blogs that will be focused on the individual stories of the local artisans we work with at a.ell!  First on the list, we'd like to introduce Caitlin Ross Odom. She has been working with a.ell since we opened in 2009!  She is an amazing jeweler who makes all of her pieces by hand using shells and sea glass found on sandy beaches! Caitlin started collecting her first sunrise shells and sea glass pieces on the beautiful beaches of Kauai, in 2000.
