Why Are There So Many Chickens on Kauai Island?

The chickens are taking over! You may be wondering how this happened in the first place. Kauaiian chickens really only came into their own as the pigeon of Kauai in the past few decades. After Hurricane Iniki destroyed chicken enclosures in 1992, many of the island's captive chickens were released into the jungle and streets.  We love these chickens so much that we locally created cotton tees and tanks with original art by Kauai artist, John Howard. Events coming up!

Its that time of year when the events start lining up!  We wanted to let you know about a few things we will be participating in this Holiday Season, so Mark your calendars today for these Three!
